At Wonda Daily, your child's privacy is as important to us as their spiritual growth. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. Who This App Is For

Wonda Daily is designed for children, used under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Parents create and manage all accounts. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are the parent or legal guardian of the child using the app.

2. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not collect personal information directly from children. All accounts are created and controlled by parents. No child can create their own account or submit personal information independently. Parental consent is given at the point of account creation.

3. Information We Collect

From parents:

• Email address and name, via account registration, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple
• Payment information: on the web, processed securely by Flutterwave; in the mobile apps, handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store card details.

From child profiles:

• First name or nickname, age group, and chosen avatar
• Journey progress, XP, badges earned, and quiz scores
• Journal entries, stored privately and visible only to the parent and the child profile they belong to

From your device:

• Push notification tokens, stored to deliver daily reminders if you opt in
• Device timezone, used to send notifications at the right local time
• App preferences such as sound settings and notification preferences, stored locally on your device

4. How We Use Your Data

• To provide a personalised devotional experience
• To track spiritual growth milestones and award badges
• To send daily reminder notifications if you opt in
• To process subscription payments

We never sell your data or your child's data to any third party.

5. Google User Data

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google Account. We use this only to create your account and sign you in.

Wonda Daily's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising and we do not sell it.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted services to operate the app:

• Firebase by Google, for authentication, database, and hosting
• Flutterwave, for web payment processing
• Apple App Store and Google Play, for in-app subscription billing on mobile
• RevenueCat, to manage and validate in-app subscription entitlements
• Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple, as optional login methods

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data required for each service to function.

7. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform and Firebase, which are operated by Google. We limit access to your data to the people who need it to run and support the app. Journal entries and child profile data are tied to the parent account they belong to.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account through the app, all associated data — including journal entries, progress, and child profiles — is removed.

If you cannot access the app and want your data deleted, email hello@wondaforkids.com from your account address and we will take care of it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app.
